As one of the most recognisable and prestigious financial institutions, Credit Suisse has built operations across the world. The Zurich-based bank is a leading financial services player, focused on private banking, investment banking and asset management services. In 2013, the firm overhauled large parts of its business, including scaling back its interest rate trading business. The group’s CEO, Brady Dougan, plans to divert much of the firm’s resources towards the private banking division – in particular, loan facilities for wealthy clients. The asset management division was also recently merged with the private banking side of the business as a result of new regulations.
