Italy’s UniCredit can trace its proud history back as far as 1473. Now a global banking and financial services giant, UniCredit’s global operations stretch across 50 markets in 20 countries, with more than 9,000 branches and almost 150,000 members of staff. Strategically positioned in both Western and Eastern Europe, the group has one of the highest market shares in the region. The bank focuses primarily on corporate, investment and private banking, as well as asset management and securities trading. UniCredit has headquarters in both Rome and Milan, and the bank is looking to expand its operations even further across mainland Europe in the coming years.
