E-Star

Previously known as RFV, the Hungarian knowledge-based energy specialist works on complex, self-financed, supplier-independent enhancement projects in Central and Eastern Europe. E-Star combines fossil and renewable energy sources and offers customised efficiency-boosting solutions. The company operates and maintains the facilities established with reduced costs and less harmful emissions. Backed by major London-based and regional institutional investors, E-Star Alternative launched its new business strategy in 2011, aiming to become a leading regional alternative energy company. With the acquisition of EETEK, a regional peer, E-Star doubled its size and now, in addition to the Budapest Stock Exchange, it is listing its shares in Poland as well.
