Following the 2007 merger of The Bank of New York and Mellon Financial Services, BNY Mellon has served as the benchmark for financial services through outstanding performance in the twenty-first century. As growth slowed down, the firm spread operations in order to offer investors more of a comfort and buffer zone through which to trade at a higher rate. This involved several new large-cap strategies to allow assets to bounce back. Not unsurprisingly, BNY Mellon is also recognised as a green energy leader, with around seventy five percent of their US buildings’ electricity powered by energy purchased from sustainable sources.
