Ditlev Engel

CEO of Vestas Wind Systems, Engel has played no small part in the transformation not just of European energy markets, but in the general perception of how the world thinks about the future of energy production. Providing a large proportion of the Danish market with wind turbines, Engel has recently turned his attention to North America, and hopes to benefit from growing concerns to alter the way nations consume energy on a large scale.
Engel also sits on the board at HSA (Denmark) and Hempel Contractors, and is the former director of TORM, the Danish shipping company.
