With estimated total assets of around $60bn, the firm has completed a large scale investment in all but two years of its existence. It is also noted for its part in one of the US’s largest buyouts, when in 2007 KKR set about a $48.8bn buyout in Energy Future Holdings. The company currently boasts a large scale portfolio spanning several different industries and cultures across the globe, and has utilised recent market confidence as ideal for expanding horizons and corporate structures.
